Domaine Leflaive Burgundy

by irene.sacilotto » Fri Jul 08, 2016 6:39 am

Hello everyone,

what do you think of DOmaine Leflaive? I want to make a survey out of it but I miss info about some wines I would like to taste; given the huge amount of them, I would liket o choose just a few.
among the following ones, which are the best?? thanks :)

Bourgogne aligote 2011, 2012
Bourgogne Chardonnay 2014
Bourgogne Oncle Vincent 2014
Saint Romain 2013 white
SAint Aubin white 2011, 2012
Mersault in general? good or better Saint Aubin?

Reds:
Which volnay is better in your opinion? and comparing to Pommard and bourgogne Pino noir? and the selections from Cote de Beaune?

thanks:)

Are you talking about Domaine Leflaive or Olivier Leflaive? If the former, everything is white and very good indeed - the Bourgogne Blanc is often great QPR - but if the latter they produce far too many wines, IMHO. I have never had a single one that has stayed in my memory.

Greetings from Sweden / Fredrik L

PS. Vuoi dire Domaine Leflaive o Olivier Leflaive? :)
