CAMPOVIDA 2013 "Spirit Canyon Vineyard" Arneis.

Pretty straw gold color. This is a very savory, crisp wine featuring the Piemontese white grape. I might describe the fruit as "pear", but this is more about a savory nutty flavor which was quite refreshing. Medium bodied +, this may see a touch of oak but not very much. "Umami" was mentioned by a friend who tasted the wine.

The other unique aspect of this wine was a pronounced prickly acid note. Almost reminded me of a Picpoul. Very prominent on the finish, but not at all in an unpleasant or unbalanced way. (Bear in mind I have high tolerance for/liking of acid!)

Quite pleasant and unique.
