Enoteca Vino Nostro: My New Discovery

by TomHill » Sun Jun 19, 2016 3:58 pm

As we were taking the VanNess bus to WoodshedRhones last week, I noticed a wine shop on VanNess Enoteca Vino Nostro that sorta picqued my interest. The next day, I went back to take a look-see. When I walked in & started browsing the shelves, I realized I had stumbled (my normal mode on conveyance) onto something special. There were all these Italian labels that I had never ever seen before. Producers that were all new to me.
As I engaged the lady there in discussion (Parissima Tamanti), we soon realized that we had quite a lot in common. Wound up visiting with her for over an hour.

Enoteca Vino Nostro: (EnotecaVinoNostro)
is the retail arm for Tosco Wines:
( ToscoWines )
an importer of Italian wines, based over in Richmond. They distribute a lot to restaurants and retailers around the country. Found over a case of things I couldn't live without...and that was just from Northern Italy.

Anyway, for those of you living in the BayArea, definitely worth a trip into TheCite. You can order direct from their WebSite. I'll be going back for more.
