I'm a zinaholic for a reason

or maybe just because.
I went up to Catelli's in Geyserville for dinner tonight and took along a bittle of Joseph Swan Mancini Ranch Zinfandel 2006.
WOW! One of the best zins I can remember. Rich, with lots of brambles and old-zin dust, yet full of blackberry and life.
Dinner was Caesar salad and house-made raviolis with meat sauce. Too bad it's my last bottle.

Sounds tasty, though the 14.9% gives me pause.

Consider how many RRV Zins were 15.9% that year. Rod does a great job.
