WTN: 2015 Massican Annia (white blend)

by David M. Bueker » Wed Jun 01, 2016 8:41 pm

2015 Massican Annia - USA, California, Napa Valley (6/1/2016)
Bright and rich in the mid-palate at the same time, this wine shows good floral and crisp fruit aromatics and an inner mouth herbal element that adds complexity. Lively and energizing, it's a rare California white blend that strikes the right chords for me.

Blend is Tocai Friuliano, Ribolla Gialla and Chardonnay

Not had the Annia yet, David. But had last week the SauvBlanc. Much in the same style and very Friuli-like.
"Lively & energizing" is dead on.
