WTN: Macedon PinotNoir Tikves/Macedonia '14..(short/boring)

Did some bottom feeding at WholeFoods and took one for the team:
1. Macedon PinotNoir QualityWine w/ Controlled Origin: Tikves Wine Region (13.0%; AugustWineGroup/Seattle; Winemaker: Giorgi Jovanov) StobiWnry/Gradsko/Republic of Macedonia 2014: Med.light ruby color; quite earthy/loamy/dusty/mushroomy very little PN fruit rather dull nose; very earthy/loamy/compost pile/mushroomy quite sour little bright acidity no fruit flavor w/ some rough/coarse/sour tannins; speaks strongly of the nether regions of a gypsy so RedBurg lovers should like this wine; a rough/coarse/very sour red w/ little PN character. $10.00 (WF)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This is (presumably) a very terroir-driven wine. So folks who worship at the altar of terroir should love this. This is the 2'nd Macedonian red I've tried. The other was the Tikves Vranac which spoke only of PhilippeCambie and neither of Vranac varietal character nor of Tikves terroir. So now 0 for two on Macedonian reds. Pray for me when I see another Macedonian red.
