Umathum 2015 Burgenland Rosa. A blend of Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, and Sankt-Laurent. $25.00. Fairly deep/bright pink in the glass. Intensely but somehow still restrainedly fruity, really nicely balanced by its acid and minerality; leans more in the direction of a Pinot-based rosé than, say, a Bandol. So far, this is one of the better rosés we've tried this year.
cheers, Patchen
