2000 Cullen Wines Cabernet Sauvignon - Merlot (Diana Madeline) - Australia, Western Australia, South West Australia, Margaret River (5/17/2016)
My last bottle of this wine, and so of course the best...

Aging from the outside in, it's now a core of fruit wrapped in old leather, cherry infused tobacco in an elegant room. It is an absolute pleasure to drink now, with or without food.

Cullen is a new name to me. I've generally found the few Margaret River wines I have tried to have more balance than my prejudices about Australia predict, apparently cooler climate.

Great producer--everything David says. Better than Leeuwin, harder to find.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

And I am unlikely to buy any more, as the pricing has hit the $90+ level.
