SWR:mystery novel

(debated whether to post here or F&F)
I'm an escapist, tend to mostly read mysteries (Kellerman, Connelly, McDermid, Connolly, Rankin, Crais, Lehane, Grimes, countless Scandinavians, etc).
Just read "Icarus" by Deon Meyer. Slight tough go as starting in middle of a series, and I didn't realize there was a South African glossary in back till I was almost done with book. But a decent mystery, with a big wine theme running through it (I'm not being more specific to avoid a spoiler).

famous writer in RSA, and recommended to me. But books pricey on Amazon, and very pricey as Kindles so have resisted so far.

I like mysteries too and tend to read them in spurts between biographies, histories, novels, and religious topics. Have read some Kellerman and Grimes books but you have given me other names to seek out.

Hi Dale,

great recommendation. Besides Icarus we have read until now 3 resp 4 (my wife) Deon Meyer books.

Thanks for the info :D
