WTN: 2015 Kutch Pinot Noir Rosé

by David M. Bueker » Sat May 07, 2016 4:34 pm

2015 Kutch Pinot Noir Rosé - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (5/7/2016)
Calling in another Rosé to try to bring Spring weather back to New England. Lots of red cherry and watermelon fruit on the palate makes this a refreshing wine, and it even sports a little bit of structure on the palate. Nice stuff that speaks of Pinot Noir in a lighter frame. Now if the weather would only warm up!

Sounds great. Pretty much the best roses I've had from Cal have been pinot noirs. Wish they were more plentiful in my area.
My wine shopping and I have never had a problem. Just a perpetual race between the bankruptcy court and Hell.--Rogov

I am a big fan of Mourvèdres, but I get your point.

I'm a big fan of Larry Shaffer's Mourvedre rose at Tercero (and of course Bandol) but I haven't had any others from California where I've had a number of pinot noirs. My opinion's skewed somewhat by the paucity of samples from which to make a choice.
