A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This ATP wine was not available to reorder, so thought I'd try it before I couldn't really reorder it. It was good....very good..but won't reorder it, though. Think the HookerCreek '14 is a better wine.

2. There has been an ongoing evolution of the Ridge Zins over the last 5-6 yrs. They are less overtly "Ridge Zin" and reflect more the vnyd origins. The Ridge winemaking signature is less strong...less DraperPerfume. This very much mirrors the evolution of the Turley Zins as they transitioned to EhrenJordan and now Tegan. They don't shout "Ridge Zin", but now speak it w/ a much quieter voice. I think the Ridge Zins are pretty much the best they've ever been...especially the '14's. They do a terrific job w/ the tannin management and the tannins, though there, are seldom harsh & obtrusive & rough.
