A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Nosiola is a variety that appears to be indigenous to Trentino or AltoAdige. A variety that should be planted all up & down the coast of Calif. I've only had the Foradori renditions of this wine.
The wine was aged for 8 mo. w/ skin contact in clay tinajas made in Spain. Yet I was unable to pick up any hints of tannins nor skin-contact phenolic character. I just don't understand how Elisabetta pulls that off. Normal retail on this wine is $48...and well worth it.
