A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. A-R: This is a field blend of mostly Sylvaner/Riesling + other obscure white varieties; planted 61 yrs ago low down on the western flank of Mt.Veeder. I was expecting more perfume & aromatics, but it was a pleasant enough white and not green & eviscerated at all. Reminded me a lot of a Savoie Jacquere.

2. Woot: This was brought to our last BBB Zin tasting by Steve. It was typical very ripe/LateHrvst Zin but a bit too alcoholic & fumey for my taste. W/ a chocolate truffle, it tasted a lot better.
