(And probably still don't.) Apparently, their fundraising goal of $100K was met in 15 hours. Who are these people?

Another wine club that no one needs. (I've been given enough razors in my life that I no longer go, "Yippee! Now I can buy blades!")

I'm flabberghasted that so many have invested so much money in this thing.

Its a glorified and very expensive, wine box locking you into buying their own 'no name' wines.

It is a bit slicker and more elegant than the typical wine toy. But the whole "expert selected wines" thing is an URK! moment.

https://synek.wine/products/somms-reisling

If they can't spell Riesling correctly on their own wine label, how much confidence should one have on their expertise as the interface between suckers who buy this monstrous contraption and the anonymous plonk they extract from wineries' surplus stocks ?

Guess where I am on this!

The “wine lovers” who could afford it have the “Napa Valley Reserve” and “Soutirage”, the “others” have “Somm by Synex”, so be it.
