2001 Château Coutet - France, Bordeaux, Sauternais, Barsac (4/8/2016)This is showing younger than most of the 2001 Sauternes/Barsac I have tried to date. The fruit is still in the fresh rather than dried range, in this case mostly peach. There is lots of vanilla richness, but the palate impression is quite lively. Not much in the way of development, despite being from a 375ml. Give it a bunch more time.
