Needed a white, so tried this last night:
1. OjaiVnyd SauvBlanc WesterlyVnyd/SBC (14.0%) OakView 2005: Med.gold color; very strong herbal/SB/near vegetal bit smokey/FB slight honeyed pencilly/oak bit old Loire/PouillyFume/earthy/chalky some complex nose; lightly tart/tangy/metallic rather herbal/vegetal/SB somewhat honeyed/rich/melony light earthy/chalky/PouillyFume flavor; very long rather herbal/SB bit earthy/chalky/mineral/perfumed talc some rich/melony/honeyed finish; not showing a lot of evolution beyond the slightly honeyed character; interesting & pleasurable wine.

1. I'm not a big fan of Calif SauvBlancs, but I've always liked to SB's that Adam makes. I tend to prefer those that are a bit richer and, especially, those from SauvMusque. The DryCreekVineyards SauvMusque is consistently my favorite.
I stumbled upon this one last night & thought I'd give it a shot, having no idea what to expect. I was expecting it to be showing a bit more age. It had the characteristic Ojai SB richness, but, save for a slightly honeyed character, didn't show a whole lot of evolution at all. It didn't show a lot of the striking minerality you get in most PouillyFume. But quite an interesting, if youthful, SB.
