NYTimes: Asimov on AlderSprings

Eric has a fascinating article in todays NYTimes:
CalifGrapesThatFlourish

titled California Grapes That Flourish in Splendid Isolation. describing StuBewley's AlderSpringsVnyd way up in MendocinoCnty.
Alas, the article is badly flawed. He could have easily chosen other vnyds..like AnnKraemers ShakeRidgeVnyd...or JohnCabot's vnyd way up in HumboltCnty, that exist in "splendid isolation". And he chose to wrong winemakers to interview. After all...who gives a rat's a$$ about the "tightly coiled" Kesner AlderSprings Chard..there are other, much better, Calif Chards out there. The Rombauer, for instance.

But, despite these grevious flaws, the article is a splendid read...Eric at the NYTimes best.
