WTN: 2009 Williams Selyem Pinot Noir Peay Vineyard...

Sonoma Coast, CA. 14.2% abv. Richly fruited with dark purple-red color and purple plum flavors. There is a nice spice note as well. This has bold flavor and the alcohol level shows but it still displays some finesse, making for an attractive, satisfying wine. It was best on the first evening. This is one Pinot Noir I prefer at room temperature rather than chilled. I had it one evening with pork egg roll and potato salad and another evening with ground beef and vegetable pizza.
