2002 Justin Vineyards & Winery Isosceles - USA, California, Central Coast, Paso Robles (3/8/2016)
Served blind as part of an overall tasting of Cabernet-based wines, this was the picture of why aging this bottling is a dangerous proposition. There was lots of jammy fruit, and so a portion of the group was very pleased, but there was also a distinctive volatile streak on the nose and the back end of the wine. As the wine got more air the volatility increased. Drink up soon or risk a complete volatile acidity meltdown.

Pretty wide variation of opinion on this one overall, as was to be expected. I was not a fan - at all.
