Continuing to Pobega my Thurs Carlisle shipment, I tried:
1. Carlisle Zin SonomaCnty (15.1%; +PetiteSirah/AlicanteBouchet; Pre-prohibition vines; Screwcap) 2014: Dark color; very strong blackberry/boysenberry/Zin/licorice some dusty/OV very spicy lovely nose; slightly soft very strong blackberry/boysenberry/Zin/licorice/RCCola/raspberry some dusty/OV very light toasty/oak flavor w/ light bitey tannins; very long/lingering very strong blackberry/boysenberry/Zin/very spicy rather dusty/OV very light toasty/oak finish w/ light angular tannins; speaks strongly of SonomaVlly Zin and reminds of Bucklin AncientVine Zin; a lovely 4-square Zin at a great price; should drink well over the next 4-6 yrs; no signs of alcoholic heat whatsoever. $24.50

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This may not be a profound Zin, but man is it good drinking; shows lots of dusty/OV character and has some structure. Think it'll benefit from a yr or so age in the btl.
