2005 Bize “Marconnets” Savigny-les-Beaune 1er
More open than many ‘05s, rich with black cherry fruit, dirt, and mocha. Nice balance of tannin and acid, this isn’t especially long or complex, but a tasty bottle of Savigny. B+/B

2014 Edmunds st John Heart of Gold
Very floral, good acids, dry pit fruits, lovely. B+

2014 Clos Roche Blanche Sauvignon #2
Fuller styled, really drinks like a good Sancerre, plenty of acid under solid body of melon and tangerine fruit. Sad these are the last CRBs. Nice with littlenecks and pasta., B++

No wines last night with dal (with amti powder from Salil’s grandmother) , cardamon rice, cauliflower, and salad.

Grade disclaimer: I'm a very easy grader, basically A is an excellent wine, B a good wine, C drinkable. Anything below C means I wouldn't drink at a party where it was only choice.Furthermore, I offer no promises of objectivity, accuracy, and certainly not of consistency.
