I opened the 2010 Snowden Cabernet "The Ranch" from Napa tonight. With 2.5 hrs. of decant time it was fairly ready for consumption but still really needs 8-10 more years for lots of secondary flavors. Great balance of fruit and tannins, the flavors were dominated by spicy plum and a bit of cassis. Made in a restrained style, kinda mid-way between Napa and Bordeaux. Unfortunately a singleton.
