Tried this the other week at BBB:
1. AlbanVnyd Viognier RottenLuck TBA EdnaVlly (10.1%) 2001: Very dark brown/PX color; slight volatile very intense botrytis/peachy/apricotty rather toasted coconut/ZagNutBar slight smokey/oak complex honeyed nose; very sweet/raisened slight volatile huge botrytis/apricotty/peach syrup some toasted coconut/smokey/oak very intense botrytis flavor; very long/lingering very sweet/raisened/PX-like huge botrytis/peachy/rotted apricots/honeyed finish; dominated by the botrytis and no Viognier character whatsoever; will go on forever.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This was a pretty typical heavily botrytised Calif TBA. Probably because of low SO2 levels (compared to German TBA's); they tend to turn a very deep brown/black color of a PX. This btl was showing a bit of VA, however.
