2005 Edmunds St. John Syrah Wylie-Fenaughty - USA, California, Sierra Foothills, El Dorado County (1/16/2016)Drinking very well now. There is still a full complement of deep red fruit, along with earthy, leathery scents that surround the fruit like a warm blanket. The texture is smooth and the finish is rich with fruit and warm herb tones. This is lovely right now, caressing the palate, inviting the next sip. The bottle disappeared much too quickly.
