due to family reasons, I need to sell some of my bottles from my private collections; can you suggest some websites or other to do this? I want to avoid Ebay and similar because I'd like that those pieces will go to real wine lovers (I'm talking about bottles aged over 40-50 years: Barolo, Brunello, etc. etc).
Grazie!
To me, is enough only one glass. The last, of course........
You're in Bologna? Most folks here are US though there are some Europeans and others, so not sure how good our advice.
Even if you sell on EBay, I'd assume mostly wine lovers are buying wine.
A lot depends on what you own. If your Barolos are 71 or 78 Mascarello Monprivato or Giacosa Serralunga, it's a different story than if they are 65 or '75 from unknown producers. And a Soldera or Biondi-Santi is different from lesser knowns.
If you have prestige vintage from prestige producers , you should contact auction houses. If not, eBay (or in US Winebid) are probably best bet. Or you can try to see if there is a speciality wine store that might take on consignment. Or maybe look to see if there is some amateur wine society near you who might circulate your list (with photos and provenance info) to their members.
Contact any of the good stores in Switzerland - and they are many - and they will gladly buy your well stored blue chip bottles. That is what I do when I have stuff I am no longer interested in.

PS. And yes, most buyers on eBay are wine lovers, indeed. I am one of the most frequent.
