WTN: Tyrell's Rufus Stone Shiraz 2004

From the McLaren Vale.

Very deep purple in the glass.

A deep, rich nose, with chocolate and loads of spice.

Very rich, teeth-staining, berry fruit, chocolate, cedar, slightly floral, smoky. There is some tannic firmness and some sharpness which, I believe, will likely calm down with some short-term cellaring.

A long finish.

Screwcap closure.
