WTN: 2011 Texier St Julien en St Alban Vieille Serine

I was put off by a somewhat stern bottle of this 2011 back in September and spent most of the fall drinking the 2012, which is just a bit rounder and juicier and easier to please.

But, I had a bottle of this on Christmas and the deep dark layers were very very nice and very attractive. Power, richness and elegance. Lovely.

I continue to search high and low for Texier around here but all the agents seem to be looking elsewhere.
