2014 Wilde Farm Wines Rosé - USA, California, North Coast (12/22/2015)
I don't often drink Rosé in December, but when I do it is during an El Niño, and the wine is served with ham.
This is very fine stuff, with lots of red berry fruit, fine depth and bracing finishing acidity. It is quaffable, but also has plenty of flavor interest for more than just casual drinking. Great match with the ham! Drink now and over the next couple of years. There is enough stuffing in this wine to handle a little time in the cellar.
