2013 Littorai Chardonnay Thieriot Vineyard - USA, California, Sonoma County, Sonoma Coast (12/20/2015)
Served with lobster, and alongside a 2009 Ramey Hyde Vineyard Chardonnay, this certainly showed its California roots with ripe tree fruit, but it also carried bright acidity to balance the ripe fruit and notable oak treatment. There was plenty of depth to the fruit, so it should easily absorb the oak in time. Nicely done.
