WTN: Krug Grande Cuvée

NV Krug Champagne Brut Grande Cuvée - France, Champagne (12/18/2015)
This was another older bottle of the gold label NV. It predates the codes for determining vintage blend and disgorgement. Either way, it was a lovely bottle that had clearly benefited from significant cellar time. Rich, round and very flavorful, it had great persistence and depth. Not much on upfront fruit, but bursting with toasty flavors, it was a real treat.
