I just started getting this publication in my Email. Unsolicited, but wine-related. Have any of you seen it? I'll reserve comment except to observe that I'm constantly mixing up Karen MacNeil and Natalie MacLean. I wonder why that is ...

Robin, I still recall your, um, bug-eyed look while listening to the Biblical Karen during your visit to the wine immersion thing we did in Mendocino/Sonoma some years ago.

Also recall some "But....but...but" and "Wait. What?" coming from your side of the room every now and then.

So, again, is anyone getting this Email publication? Is it new?

While KM would never be on my list of favorite wine writers, I think she's WAY ahead of Natalie M. Though it sounds like similar spamming tendencies. But I'd give KM benefit of doubt as long as unsubscribe request was honored

I have to admit knowing Karen quite well over the last few years. In fact I have had Thanksgiving dinner with her the last few years. Robin I'm sorry I can't answer your question because I'm not really knowledgeable about Wine Speed. Karen and I used to get into discussions about certain things in the wine world . I really don't do that anymore as Karen is not someone who changes her mind very often. I know Hoke understand what I'm attempting to say and it amounts to peace in our time. Kim David so ordered my participation in the treaty that now exists between Karen and I.
She does have the second edition of her Wine Bible which is on the bookshelves. . The first edition sold extremely well and I wish her well with her new book. She did not have it easy in life and has worked hard for her accomplishments.
