A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Loved the label on the Carlisle Derivative. As I stared at the f'(x), I felt this overwhelming urge to pull out my Gradshetyn & Ryzhik Tables of Integrals, Series, and Products, your bible when you had to do an integral, and start integrating equations. Holy $hit... the 8'th Edition sells for almost $100 on Amazon. I looked at my copy back at the office and the price stamped inside the cover was $13.50. I still use it several times a yr. The slide rule...not so much. But I still can use the LL3 scale w/ a certain degree of skill. It's amazing to me....some of the snot-nosed kids on my floor here have no clue how to use a slide rule...nor ever done see'd a punch card.
