Which wines for your last eve of the year?

Which will be your wines for your last eve of the year...?

This is my "perfect" list of them:

1) Sparkling white light
2) Sparkling red
3) Strong red
4)Passito/Sauternes

And the other question is...: How many bottles?
To me, is enough only one glass. The last, of course........

My wife and I will be over at the near-by neighbors for dinner and euchre (cards) on New Years Eve (their turn to host). I bring the wine which will be a champagne for later (probably an older NV Duval Leroy) and a Chard. or oldish Cal. Cab, depending on what the hostess is serving for dinner. Maybe bring a 1/2 bottle of Sauternes or German Berrenauslese. The hostess and myself are the only real wine drinkers so I'm sure that will suffice.

Depends on what we have for dinner!
Decisions are made by those who show up
