From CellarTracker: (drinking through some of my older whites that might be past prime)
2006 Waterbrook Columbia Valley Riesling, Washington State
11% abv. Gold color with clarity. The wine conveys sweet apricot, honey and marmalade. Under the ripe surface, I find a stony base. This was an okay pairing with sweet and sour chicken and white rice but not a "must have."
2007 Tegernseerhof Riesling Loibenberg, Wachau, Austria
Labeled 13% abv. Screwcap. Purchased for $24.99 plus tax. Pale gold with clarity. Pungent aroma and a little heavy on the petrol. Minerality and salinity also evident. I like it but could do with less petrol. I paired it with a baked chicken dish. For its price, not bad, but one could probably do better.
