2014 Idlewild Dolcetto Fox Hill Vineyard - USA, California, North Coast, Mendocino County (12/10/2015)Opened to pair with pasta and homemade red sauce with chili flakes and spinach. The wine was totally up to the task. All raspberry fruit with herbal accents and just enough tannin on the finish to provide an appropriate level of structure. It is a lovely partner for food and very enjoyable as an after dinner glass as well.
