1. de su propia Cosecha LunaMattaVnyd/PasoRobles RW (52% Grenache/42% Mourv/6% Syrah; 14.7%; 55 cs; www.DeSuPropiaCosecha.com; 50% whole-cluster; BrlAged: 30 mo) Chris&Deanna King/Orcutt 2007: Very dark/near black color; very strong/intense plummy/blackberry/licorice/boysenberry/Mourv slight strawberry/Grenache bit chocolaty some ripe/alcoholic/jammy slight earthy huge nose; soft/fat/rich/lush very strong plummy/boysenberry/blackberry/licorice bit smokey/toasty/oak slight alcoholic/fumey/jammy/ripe bit earthy flavor w/ slight ripe/smooth tannins; long bit hot/fumey/alcoholic/ripe/jammy very strong plummy/licorice/boysenberry light toasty/charred/oak finish w/ modest smooth/ripe tannins; some like a Priorat or Toro Garnacha but not the structure or minerality the better ones show; loads of ripe PR Mourv fruit; delicious Grenache & fully mature if a bit pricey. $34.00 (WH)
