2012 Wind Gap Wines Chardonnay James Berry - USA, California, Central Coast (12/7/2015)I put a cup of this in the soup pot last night, but did not get around to tasting it until tonight. Given how tight it is now I can only imagine that it was pretty well wound up when I opened it. Melon and pear fruit are complimented by a hint of back palate spice. The lingering note is more towards citrus, with ample acidic cut. Quite nice.
