2011 Donkey and Goat "Sluice Box" El Dorado County White Wine.
Jarrod's take on a skin-contact white "Rhone" blend. Pretty light bronze color. Definitely some "phenolic" notes. Creamy mouth feel, but also some delicious prickly acidity. "Tea" notes amidst the fruit flavors. Quite nice.

2013 Campovida sparkling wine. Grenache??? A delicious, dry, savory, yeasty sparkler. Not a big drinker of sparkling wines, and this was lovely.

2014 Campovida McFadden Ranch (Mendocino County) Riesling. My second Riesling from this estate (Dashe makes one also!) Bone dry with a pronounced savory element. I know "minerally" is a bad thing and not real, but.... Reminds me a bit of the delicious Ravines (New York) dry Riesling I am a big fan of.

2014 Dashe Louveau Block 2 Zinfandel. Dry Creek Valley. from a magnum! Already very approachable! Not goopy or over-ripe, this wine instead has the lovely lithe character of Dashe wines. Brilliant berry fruit with that core of acidity he obtains in his winemaking! Lovely wine.

2013 Dashe Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. I am really enjoying Alexander Valley as a focal point for drier, earthier, cabernets with that touch of green freshness. Delicious and earthy and already so good. Only 88 cases though!
