Tried last night:
1. FreemarkAbbey Viognier NapaVlly (15.5%; www.FreemarkAbbey.com) TedEdwards/Oakville 2013: Light gold color; some tropical fruit/peach/mango pleasant/simple Viog nose; soft/fat/lush/porky light peach/mango/Viog simple slight grapefruity/tangybit watery slight off-dry bit alcoholic flavor; med.short lush/fat/porky ligh peach/mango/Viog bit alcoholic slight tangy/grapefruity; tastes acidified; dull as dishwater and tastes like a Pays d'Oc Viog cropped at 8 tons/acre, but w/o the austere/stony character; overpriced at $22.00 (AV)

1. I remember when I looked forward to the latest release of the FA Chard and PS. The FA Edelwein, the first authentic Calif BA '72, was exceptional. I saw this Viog, the price was reasonable. so though I'd revisit FA after some 20 yrs. What a waste of time.
