2000 Cascina Gagliassi Barolo Riserva Le Coste
Overpowering tannins noted five years ago have relaxed somewhat, but after 1 hour decant it still shows more rustic than elegant. And after another hour in the glass, it dries out.
Not what I hoped for, but it was fine with a plate of pasta in a Sunday gravy meat sauce. Glad not to have any other bottles, though.
