2013 Caves Duplessis Chablis - France, Burgundy, Chablis (11/11/2015)Bracing, lemons and mineral water, with a top note of tangerine and finishing chalky richness. This is an extraordinary value.

I visited Gérard Duplessis in the late 90s because he was known to stock older vintages and bought a few 1ers crus from 88, 89 and 90 which gave a lot of pleasure with no premox at all IIRC. It may be his son in charge now. I don't know if they still have a line in older vintages but, if I find myself in the region, I may check them out again.

Dale - Selection Massale was my source.
Tim - premox was not really a problem for anyone in the late 80s. 1995 was the real start of the problem.
