Tried this last night w/ my Panforte:
1. EagleRidgeWnry of Penngrove Zin SonomaCoast LateHrvst LmtdEd (SaH: 30 Brix; RS:0.91%; 13.7%; Aged: 4 yrs in Fr.oak) Penngrove 1985: Med.light rather bricked bit browning color; strong raisened/pruney/late hrvsty slight oxidized some earthy/bretty/mushroomy/funky rather cedary/pencilly/old Zin/smokey complex nose; soft quite pruney/raisened some oxidized/cedary/pencilly/oldZin no fruit some earthy/mushroomy bit hot complex flavor w/ little tannins; long very dried/dried out very pencilly/cedary/oldZin quite raisened/pruney/overripe/late hrvsty slight oxidized finish w/ little tannins; still clinging to life but on its last legs; not undrinkable but not much pleasure here.

1. Now here's a name from outta the past. Not sure who was behind this wnry and gather it's no longer in business.
This was from my orphan stash, stored upright. The cork was solid & came out intact. Within about 3 min of opening, the wine had turned a very murky brown color.
