My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary last nite (an incredible record considering my previous marital history) with king crab
and a 1999 Philippe Prie "Love Flowers" Brut. A 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, this sparkler was one of my most memorable in the last few years and my wife thought it the best Champagne she had ever had. Color was a deep straw and the nose was medium-full of yellow fruit which followed on the palate with a very fine abundant mousse. The label does not indicate exactly where in the Champagne region this wine was produced. abv of %12. Probably my last bottle unfortunately!
