Tried these two w/ Susan Fri night:
1. Siduri PinotGris AbreVertVnyd/WillametteVlly/OR (13.5%) C&B by Siduri/SantaRosa 2014: Med.gold color; strong spicy/floral/PG rather Alsatian-like bit toasty/graham cracker quite fragrant/perfumed nose; lightly tart spicy/floral/PG/peach blossom fairly lush/ripe flavor; long lightly tart PG/spicy/floral/peach blossom/pear quite attractive finish; reminds a lot of a mid-range Alsatian PG but not the mineral character they often show; one of the better Siduri whites I can recall because it has the acidity. $16.80

2. Novy Zin CarlisleVnyd/RRV (15.3%) 2013: Very dark color; strong very ripe/boysenberry/RRV Zin/blackberry/spicy some smokey/toasty/Siduri oak bit milk of magnesia quite lovely nose; soft/very ripe strong blackberry/RRV Zin/boysenberry bit milk of magnesia strong smokey/vanilla/oak very lush/ripe flavor w/ light ripe tannins; very long/lingering soft/lush/ripe very strong RRV Zin/blackberry/boysenberry/spicy some vanilla/pencilly/smokey oak slight milk of magnesia finish w/ light soft/smooth/ripe tannins; speaks loudly of RRV Zin and some of Siduri oak; carries the alcohol well; not the structure or backbone of Carlisle or Bedrock but a very lush/ripe attractive drinkable RRV Zin that will go out 2-5 yrs; a steal at $23.80

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Both of these wines are real steals at the WineClub prices.
The PinotGris was labeled "[b]Cellared]/b] & Bttld by.." I'm not quite sure why that is, though.
