2004 Schäfer-Fröhlich Riesling halbtrocken - Germany, Nahe (11/5/2015)Eleven years on from the vintage, this humble halbtrocken is drinking very well. Toasted apple (yep), mineral, mint and just the subtlest hint of sweetness are balanced by bracing acidity. Delicious to sip on its own and a fabulous wine for food.
