A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. Matt makes no apologies for aiming to emulate some of the retrograde/old-timey Calif wines. Hence his interest in GreenHungarian (this being the first crop off this vnyd). If that be his aim here, then he certainly succeeded. This wine was remeiniscent of some of those old GusSebastiani and ChristianBrothers CheninBlancs. Not a bad wine, but just not something I found particularly interesting...which is pretty rare for a wine of Matt's. Will give it another try in a few months.
