WTN: 2005 Bugay Cabernet

by Jim Grow » Sun Nov 01, 2015 8:34 pm

This bottling, from the Mayacama Mts. of Sonoma Co. , the Les Rocheuses Reserve", was opened tonight in hopes that it was showing some real maturity. Not so. It showed some plum and a bit of cassis but was still very primary with black/purple color and muted nose with still dominant tannins but not obtrusive. I will give my remaining bottles 4-6 years to further resolve. abv of %14.2
