2004 Zind-Humbrecht Gewurztraminer Goldert - France, Alsace, Alsace Grand Cru (11/1/2015)
Looking back, this wine was decent in 2012. Tonight it was a horrifying glass of lychee scented lighter fluid. Keep away from open flames. Undrinkable.

2008 A.J. Adam Hofberg Riesling Spätlese - Germany, Mosel Saar Ruwer (11/1/2015)
This was drinking very well tonight, showing lots of crisp fruit, accented by tropical aspects and a refreshing dose of salty acidity. It was still mostly primary fruit, but very well integrated, and with great promise for further development.
