WTN: Dringenberg Rossese '14....(short/boring)

Tried last night at Cam's:
1. MaccarioDringenberg DOC: Rossese di Dolceaqua (13.5%; AlberelloProvenzale system; www.JanDAmoreWines.com; 4 ha of vines) SanBiagioDellaCima 2014: Med.color; quite perfumed/fragrant/floral sour cherry/black cherry/spicy/cherry cola slight dusty/earthy lovely nose; rather tart/tangy/saline bright sour cherry/cherry cola/spicy/cinammon light dusty/earthy/OV very attractive flavor w/ light/tangy tannins; very long bright cherry/cherry cola bit dusty/earthy/stony/OV finish w/ light lean/tight tannins; a classic Ligurian Rossese; a bit like a Ridge LS w/o the oak; this is how they'd make Rossese in the DryCreekVlly if they had the sense to plant it (probably too hot); a very attractive tart/tangy/saline red. $27.00 (AmsterdamWineCo)

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. I've had some 7-8 Rosseses now and very impressed by this grape. I could see it making a great wine on the far SonomaCoast or StRitaHills.
