2005 Chateau le Conseiller, Cellar Tracker comments thought that the fruit was going and I would concur. Still some plummy fruit and totally resolved tannins but still balanced. I bought a case of this on RMP's very high recommendation and am still disappointed. I should stop doing this! My first few bottles were totally shut down and this is the first bottle that was not overly tannic! This more resembled a generic Cal. red wine than any Bordeaux I have ever tasted. I guess I missed the very narrow window of peak maturity before fruit started to decline. I will drink up my remaining bottles soon.

Ah, so I just looked it up. Not sure I would look for a 10 year or longer aging curve on a Bordeaux Superieur.
